Adaptador de cambio de sexo SCART Samsung BN39-01154F, adaptador SCART para convertir el sexo del conector

Samsung SCART gender cable BN39-01154F is a compact adapter designed to change the gender of a SCART connector, enabling direct connection between SCART-equipped devices with incompatible plug orientations. The adapter provides a simple, passive solution for adapting set-top boxes, TVs, VCRs and other AV equipment that use the SCART standard, avoiding the need to rewire or replace existing cables. Its small form factor makes it convenient to keep in entertainment cabinets or carry with portable AV setups.

Advantages

This SCART gender cable offers an immediate gender conversion without altering signal paths or requiring power. The passive adapter maintains standard SCART pin assignments so audio and composite video signals pass through unchanged when used with compatible equipment. Its compact construction minimizes strain on connectors and saves space behind devices where cable routing is limited. Installation is straightforward: simply mate the adapter between the existing SCART plug and socket.

Suitable for

• Connecting set-top boxes to TVs when plug gender differs
• Linking VCRs, DVD players or legacy AV devices with SCART interfaces
• Temporary conversions in AV setups during system reconfiguration
• Repairing compatibility issues without replacing cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: SCART gender conversion adapter (female-to-male or male-to-female as required)
• Signal support: standard SCART analogue signals (audio and composite video pass-through)
• Design: compact, passive adapter—no power required
• Compatibility: intended for devices adhering to SCART pinout and signalling
• Build: durable housing to reduce connector stress and support repeated mating cycles

How to use

To use the SCART gender cable, align the adapter with the existing SCART plug or socket and push the connectors together until they seat securely. Ensure that both connected devices are powered off before making the connection to avoid signal interruptions. After connecting, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display device to confirm audio and video signal transmission. If signals do not appear, check that the connected equipment uses standard SCART pinouts and that cables are fully inserted.

Recommendations

Handle the adapter carefully to avoid bending or stressing nearby cable joints. For best results, use the adapter in conjunction with cables and devices that follow the standard SCART wiring; passive gender adapters do not convert signals or standards beyond simple connector orientation changes. Store the adapter in a dry, dust-free place when not in use.
