ALANTEC FOK-U16G-MM-5-B OM5 cable de fibra óptica multimodo, 16 fibras, 50/125 µm, B2ca, LSOH, FireHardy, Universal

The ALANTEC FOK-U16G-MM-5-B is a high-performance OM5 multimode fiber optic cable designed for universal indoor/outdoor applications. With 16 fibers and a 50/125 µm core/cladding, it supports wideband multimode transmission for next-generation networks. The cable features a B2ca fire resistance classification and LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath, ensuring safety in public and commercial buildings. Its FireHardy flame-retardant properties make it ideal for installations requiring strict fire safety standards.

Advantages

OM5 fiber enables high-speed data transmission over multiple wavelengths, including 850 nm and 953 nm, supporting SWDM technology. The B2ca CPR classification ensures compliance with European building regulations. LSOH material reduces toxic smoke emissions in case of fire. Non-metallic strength members provide immunity to electromagnetic interference. Water blocking and UV resistance enhance durability in outdoor environments.

Suitable for

• Data center backbone cabling
• Local area network (LAN) installations
• Building and campus networks
• Industrial environments requiring flame retardancy
• Outdoor and indoor fiber optic infrastructure
