AMD Mosquetón de cierre de rosca PETZL - 27 kN resistencia eje principal, aluminio, CE EN 12275 B, UIAA

With a major axis strength of 27 kN, this carabiner is built to handle serious loads in climbing, work at height, and rescue scenarios. The screw-lock mechanism provides a secure, manually operated locking system that prevents accidental gate opening. Crafted from lightweight aluminum with an H-profile cross-section, it weighs just 70 g without compromising durability. The asymmetrical D shape optimizes strength-to-weight ratio and ensures proper loading along the major axis. A keylock gate system eliminates snagging on ropes, slings, or gear loops, while the 24 mm gate opening accommodates a wide range of connectors and anchors. Finished in grey with a red sleeve for quick identification, this carabiner meets CE EN 12275 type B and UIAA standards, and each unit is individually tested for reliability.

Overview

The AMD screw lock carabiner, produced in collaboration with PETZL, is a versatile connector designed for professionals and enthusiasts who demand safety and performance. Its screw-lock sleeve requires manual rotation to lock and unlock, providing a tactile confirmation of security. The aluminum body is anodized for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The keylock nose prevents the gate from catching on bolts, hangers, or rope, making clipping and unclipping smooth even with gloves. The H-profile cross-section reduces weight while maintaining high strength, making it ideal for alpine climbs, industrial rope access, and rescue operations where every gram counts.
