ASUS TUF Gaming A18 TUF808UP-DICS9097W AMD Ryzen™ 7 260 Portátil 45.7 cm (18 inch) WQXGA 32 GB DDR5-SDRAM 1 TB SSD NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) Windows 11 Home Negro, Gris

The ASUS TUF Gaming A18 TUF808UP-DICS9097W is an 18-inch gaming laptop designed to deliver high-performance gaming and multitasking on Windows 11. It pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, a 45.7 cm (18") WQXGA 2560 x 1600 IPS-level display in 16:10 format, 32 GB DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD to balance frame rates, responsiveness and storage for modern games and productivity workloads.

Advantages

The A18 offers a large high-resolution 18" WQXGA display that provides more screen space and clearer visuals than typical 15- or 16-inch models, combined with a powerful CPU and a dedicated RTX 5070 GPU for smooth gameplay and content creation. Fast DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD reduce load times and help maintain system responsiveness under heavy multitasking. Built-in Wi‑Fi 6E and modern I/O ensure up-to-date connectivity for online gaming and peripherals.

Suitable for

• Playing modern AAA and esports titles at high settings
• Content creation workflows such as video editing and 3D rendering
• Multitasking and productivity with many browser tabs and applications
• Portable gaming and LAN events where a larger screen is preferred

When it may not be suitable

Due to its 18-inch size and gaming-grade cooling and battery, the A18 is larger and heavier than ultraportable laptops and may be less convenient for frequent travel. Battery life under intensive gaming or heavy CPU/GPU tasks will be significantly shorter than on thin-and-light models despite the 90 Wh battery.

Use the dedicated NVIDIA GPU profile for gaming and select integrated graphics for lighter tasks to conserve battery. Keep vents clear and consider a laptop stand or cooling pad during prolonged high-load sessions to maintain thermal performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Physical size and weight — the 18" chassis is less portable than smaller laptops
• Battery endurance during gaming vs. plugged-in use
• Cooling and noise levels under sustained heavy load
• Display resolution and aspect ratio preference for gaming or productivity

Recommendations

For best gaming performance, use the laptop plugged in with the performance power profile enabled, keep drivers up to date, and ensure adequate ventilation. Switch to integrated graphics when doing light work to extend battery life.
