Bloc de acuarela CANSON Coton d'Art, 260 x 360 mm, blanco natural, 12 hojas, 300 g/m², 100% algodón, grano fino C518508002

CANSON Coton d'Art stands apart through its 100% cotton, mould-made paper—a choice that gives artists a surface with exceptional absorbency and durability. Unlike cellulose-based blocks, this natural white paper responds with a soft, even wash and allows repeated lifting without breaking down. The fine grain texture adds a subtle tooth that holds pigment beautifully while remaining smooth enough for fine detail work.

Highlights

• 100% cotton paper, mould-made for superior strength and archival quality
• 300 g/m² weight handles heavy washes, gouache, ink, and thin acrylic applications
• Fine grain surface balances texture and smoothness for versatile techniques
• Glued on one side to keep sheets flat during painting; easy removal with a palette knife
• Acid-free, pH neutral, and chlorine-free for long-term preservation
• Internally and externally sized for controlled water absorption and vibrant colour

In daily use

The block format eliminates the need for stretching—sheets stay flat as you work, then release cleanly from the glued edge. The natural white tone offers a bright, neutral base that enhances colour luminosity without optical brighteners. Whether you build delicate glazes or bold, saturated passages, the paper’s resilience supports layering and reworking.
