BlueOptics F5-UPG-QSFP+-7.5M-2-BO Cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand MTP 4x LC

The BlueOptics F5-UPG-QSFP+-7.5M-2-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7.5 m multimode OM3 patch cable with an MTP connector on one end and 4x LC duplex connectors on the other. It is designed for high-speed data links in data centres and enterprise networks where QSFP+ transceivers and parallel optics are used. The cable features laser-optimized OM3 fibre for reliable short- to mid-range multimode transmission and a flame-retardant LSZH jacket for reduced smoke and halogen-free behaviour in confined spaces.

Advantages

This cable provides a compact MTP to 4x LC breakout suitable for QSFP+ connections, offering low insertion loss and high return loss thanks to quality connector assemblies and branded multimode fibre. The OM3 fibre supports high data rates over typical data centre distances and the LSZH outer sheath reduces fire hazard risks and smoke generation. Each cable is factory-tested for insertion loss and return loss, and is manufactured with zirconia ceramic ferrules for extended mating cycles.

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; observe the minimum bend radius specified by multimode OM3 standards. Align and insert the MTP connector into the QSFP+ or cassette port and plug each LC duplex connector into the corresponding SFP+/LC ports or patch panel adapters. Verify link continuity and optical budget using appropriate test equipment or by checking device link status LEDs. Store spare length coiled loosely to avoid microbends.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connectors clean and use dust caps when connectors are idle. Use the cable for distances within OM3 multimode specifications and follow manufacturer guidance for transceiver types and multimode link budgets. If repeated mating is expected, inspect ferrules periodically and replace the cable if insertion or return loss degrades beyond acceptable limits.
