Bolígrafo de limpieza Extralink WUN015 – limpiador de fibra óptica, más de 800 ciclos de limpieza

Extralink WUN015 cleaner pen is a handheld fiber optic connector cleaner designed to perform more than 800 dry cleaning cycles. It removes dust, oil and particles from connector end faces without the use of solvents, enabling quick maintenance of fiber optic links. The compact design and simple operation make it suitable for field use and for technicians who need to keep connector end faces clean to maintain signal performance.

Advantages

The cleaner pen provides over 800 cleaning cycles in a single unit and uses a dry cleaning method that eliminates the need for solvents or liquid wipes. Its portable, pen-style form factor allows access to tight spaces and quick, repeatable cleaning of LC, SC and similar connector types. The device reduces the risk of contamination-related signal loss by reliably removing particulate and light residues from connector end faces.

Suitable for

• Field maintenance and on-site fiber optic repairs
• Telecommunications and data center connector cleaning
• Installation and commissioning of fiber links
• Routine inspection and preventive maintenance of fiber networks

Key specifications

• Cleaning method: dry, non-solvent cleaning
• Estimated cleaning cycles: 800+
• Form factor: handheld pen-style cleaner
• Compatible connector types: common small-form and standard fiber connectors (e.g., LC, SC and similar end-face geometries)
• Typical use environment: field and indoor telecommunication installations

How to use

Remove the cap and place the cleaner tip against the connector end face, aligning the tip with the ferrule. Depress or twist according to the tool's operation to advance the cleaning media across the connector end face, then withdraw and inspect the connector with a microscope or inspection tool. Replace the cap after use to protect the cleaning media. Follow any site-specific safety and handling procedures when working on live equipment.

Recommendations

Use the cleaner pen for routine dry cleaning of connector end faces before mating connectors or performing optical measurements; inspect connectors after cleaning to confirm removal of contaminants and replace the cleaner when cleaning performance degrades or when the specified cycle count is reached.
