Botas de montaña La Sportiva Akyra II, talla 45

The La Sportiva Akyra II stands apart from typical trail shoes by pairing high-cushioning comfort with rugged protection, specifically engineered for long-distance runs and ultra-marathons on technical terrain. While many shoes sacrifice plushness for grip, the Akyra II delivers both, thanks to its EVA midsole with Infinitoo™ PU inserts and the aggressive FriXion® XT outsole. This men's version in Black/Yellow, size 45 EU, offers a balanced ride with a 9 mm drop and medium fit, ideal for heel strikers and midfoot runners alike.

Highlights

• High-cushioning EVA midsole with Infinitoo™ PU inserts in heel and forefoot for superior shock absorption and energy return.
• AirMesh upper with Flex-Guard™ microfibre and TPU skeleton provides breathable, structured support.
• FriXion® XT dual-compound outsole with Impact Brake System™ and 3.5 mm lugs ensures exceptional traction on rocky, rooty, and muddy trails.
• Ortholite® Hybrid Mountain Running 5 mm footbed delivers long-lasting comfort and moisture management.
• Traditional lacing system with Flex-Guard™ integration offers a secure, customizable fit.

In daily use

On the trail, the Akyra II feels stable and protective yet responsive enough for faster efforts. The high stack height (25 mm heel / 16 mm forefoot) smooths out rocks and roots, while the 9 mm drop encourages a natural stride. The non-slip mesh lining keeps the foot locked in place, and the medium/comfort fit accommodates a variety of foot shapes. Whether logging 20 km or 100 km, this shoe maintains its cushioning and protection mile after mile.
