Broca Bosch 2609255080 8,5 mm de diámetro 117 mm de longitud

The Bosch 2609255080 drill bit with an 8.5 mm diameter and 117 mm overall length is designed for straightforward, precise drilling tasks. Manufactured to Bosch quality standards, this bit combines a slim diameter with extended reach to access recessed or deep fastening points. It is suitable for use with compatible rotary and impact drills where a reliable, single-flute cutting geometry and consistent hole size are required.

Advantages

This 8.5 mm drill bit offers consistent hole accuracy and a 117 mm length that enables drilling into deeper materials without changing to extensions. The bit's material and heat treatment provide wear resistance for extended service life under normal operating conditions. Its shank is compatible with common drill chucks, ensuring stable clamping and reduced runout for cleaner holes.

Suitable for

• Drilling metal sheets and thin metal components
• Creating holes in wood and wooden assemblies
• Working with plastic parts and composite materials
• Accessing recessed screw points and through-holes in construction or assembly tasks

Key specifications

• Diameter: 8.5 mm
• Overall length: 117 mm
• Intended use: general-purpose drilling in metal, wood and plastics
• Shank type: round shank compatible with standard chucks
• Material properties: hardened cutting edges for wear resistance

How to use

Fit the drill bit securely into the drill chuck and tighten to prevent slippage. Select an appropriate rotation speed for the material—slower speeds for metals and higher speeds for wood and plastics. Apply steady feed pressure and avoid excessive force that can cause bit breakage or overheating. Use cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling metal to reduce friction and extend tool life. After use, clean the bit and store it in a protective holder to preserve the cutting edge.

Recommendations

For best results, match the drill speed and feed rate to the workpiece material and use lubrication when cutting metals. Inspect the bit before use for signs of wear or damage and replace if the cutting edges are rounded or chipped. When drilling long holes, periodically withdraw the bit to clear chips and prevent clogging.
