Cable HDMI Belkin F3Y021BT1M 1 m Type-A macho negro

The Belkin F3Y021BT1M is a 1 m high-speed HDMI cable with HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends, designed to connect Blu-ray players, game consoles, laptops and other HD devices to an HDTV. It supports up to 10.2 Gbit/s bandwidth, includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC) and is compatible with 3D video. The cable features gold-plated contacts and a black finish suitable for home entertainment setups.

Advantages

This HDMI cable provides full 1080p HD signal transmission and supports up to 10.2 Gbit/s data transfer for clear video and audio. Built-in Audio Return Channel simplifies audio routing between TV and AV equipment, and 3D compatibility lets you view stereoscopic content. Gold-plated connectors and two-layer shielding reduce signal loss and external interference, while the 1 m length is convenient for close-proximity device connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray or DVD players to HDTVs
• Linking gaming consoles and streaming devices to displays
• Connecting laptops, MacBooks or Apple TV to a television or AV receiver
• Home theater setups requiring ARC or 3D support

When it may not be suitable

This 1 m cable is not ideal if you need to connect devices placed far apart; longer runs require a longer cable to avoid strain. It supports up to 10.2 Gbit/s and 1080p/3D features but is not specified for higher-bandwidth standards required for native 4K at higher frame rates or HDR formats.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A male to HDMI Type A male
• Data transfer rate: up to 10.2 Gbit/s
• Audio: Audio Return Channel (ARC) supported
• Video compatibility: 1080p and 3D
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the HDMI output of your source device (Blu-ray player, console, laptop or streaming box) and the other end to an available HDMI input on your HDTV or AV receiver. If using ARC, plug the cable into the HDMI ARC port on both the TV and the compatible AV device, then enable ARC in the device settings if required. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid sharp bends to maintain signal integrity.

What to consider before purchase

• Required cable length for your setup — this model is 1 m long
• Compatibility with desired video formats (suitable for 1080p and 3D; not specified for higher-bandwidth 4K/HDR modes)
• Whether ARC functionality is needed for your audio configuration

Recommendations

Use the 1 m Belkin HDMI cable for short-distance connections between TVs and source devices, ensure the HDMI ports used support ARC if you need audio return, and avoid excessive bending or pinching of the cable to preserve performance.
