Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS30-55085 15 m Type-A Negro

The ShiverPeaks BS30-55085 HDMI cable is a 15 m Type A to Type A lead designed for long-distance digital AV connections. It supports a data transfer rate of 48 Gbit/s, enabling high-bandwidth video and audio transmission including 3D video and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Gold-plated contacts on both HDMI Type A connectors help maintain signal integrity over the full length. The cable comes in a black finish and is intended for connecting TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers where a reliable, high-speed HDMI link is required.

Advantages

This 15 m HDMI cable offers high data throughput up to 48 Gbit/s suitable for high-resolution video and multi-channel audio. The matching HDMI Type A connectors on both ends provide broad compatibility with standard HDMI ports. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help ensure stable signal transfer over extended distances. The single-cable solution supports 3D video and ARC functionality, simplifying connections between source devices and displays or audio systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Blu-ray player, game console or streaming box to a distant TV or projector
• Linking a computer or media player to a wall-mounted monitor in meeting rooms
• Integrating a TV with an AV receiver using Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Home theater installations where a 15 m HDMI run is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A on both ends
• Data transfer rate: 48 Gbit/s
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector to the HDMI input of the display or AV receiver. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into the ports to secure a stable connection. Configure the display and source device settings as needed to enable desired resolution, refresh rate and audio return channel settings. For best performance avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality over 15 m, route the cable to minimize tight bends and avoid running parallel to high-power electrical cables. Verify device compatibility with 48 Gbit/s bandwidth features when using high-resolution or high-refresh-rate modes. If you experience handshake or signal issues, reseat connectors, check device HDMI settings, and if necessary test with a shorter cable to isolate potential source or sink limitations.
