Hikvision IP Camera DS-2CD2667G3-LIZS2UY/SRB is a network surveillance camera equipped with a 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens that enables adjustable field of view for close-up and wide-angle monitoring. Housed in a black enclosure, the camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation and provides continuous video capture for security and monitoring applications. The unit supports high-resolution recording and network integration for remote viewing and centralized management.

Advantages

The varifocal 2.8–12 mm lens allows precise framing and zooming without changing the camera body, making it easier to adapt to different mounting locations. Network connectivity enables live streaming, remote playback, and integration with video management systems. Weather-resistant housing and professional image processing features provide reliable performance in varying light conditions and outdoor environments. Compact design and a versatile lens range reduce the need for multiple fixed-focus cameras.

Recommendations

For best image quality, perform lens adjustments while viewing live video to accurately frame the scene. Use PoE-enabled network switches or injectors if Power over Ethernet is preferred for simplified cabling. Place the camera at a height and angle that minimizes glare and obstructions, and regularly check seals and mounting hardware on outdoor installations to maintain weather resistance.
