The Tristar ST-8930 steam ironing station is a high-power ironing solution designed for efficient wrinkle removal and convenient garment care. With 2200 W of power and a non-stick soleplate, the unit delivers steady heat distribution for smooth gliding across fabrics. The system provides up to 6.5 bar steam pressure and a 1.2 L water tank to support extended ironing sessions and sustained steam output. A 1.9 m cord increases mobility during use, while the vertical steam function enables steaming of hanging garments and delicate textiles. The appliance comes in an anthracite finish suitable for contemporary laundry rooms.

Advantages

The combination of 2200 W power and up to 6.5 bar steam pressure ensures effective penetration of steam into fabrics for faster crease removal. The non-stick soleplate reduces friction and helps protect sensitive materials. A 1.2 L water tank reduces the need for frequent refills during larger tasks, and the 1.9 m cord provides extended reach for flexible positioning of the ironing station. The vertical steam function expands the unit’s usability to hanging garments and curtains without contacting the fabric directly.

Suitable for

• Regular household ironing of shirts, trousers and bed linens
• Refreshing and de-wrinkling hanging garments, suits and dresses using vertical steam
• Ironing larger loads without frequent water refills
• Users who prefer an anthracite-coloured appliance that blends with modern interiors

How to use

Fill the 1.2 L water tank according to the manufacturer's markings and ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Allow the unit to heat until it reaches operating temperature and the ready indicator shows the system is prepared for steam. Select the appropriate fabric setting if available and use the soleplate as you would with a conventional iron for horizontal ironing. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright at a short distance from the hanging garment and apply steam pulses to relax wrinkles, taking care with delicate fabrics. After use, switch off and unplug the appliance, allow it to cool, and empty any remaining water if recommended by the manufacturer.

Recommendations

To extend the life of the steam system, use distilled or demineralized water where water hardness is high, descale periodically according to the care instructions, and store the unit in a dry place once cooled. Test the soleplate and steam on an inconspicuous area of delicate fabrics before full treatment.
