Cinta adhesiva Tesa cinta de fibra de vidrio 60100 – Cinta de fibra de vidrio, 45 m de longitud, 50 mm de ancho, blanco

Tesa Glasgewebeband 60100 is a white glass cloth adhesive tape, 45 m long and 50 mm wide, designed for applications requiring high tensile strength and dimensional stability. The tape combines a woven glass-fibre carrier with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide reliable temporary fixing, joint reinforcement and surface protection in both industrial and DIY environments. Its cloth structure gives consistent performance when exposed to mechanical stress and helps maintain form under load.

Advantages

The glass cloth carrier provides excellent tensile strength and tear resistance while remaining flexible enough to conform to irregular surfaces. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures secure adhesion to a variety of substrates, including metal, wood, plastics and painted surfaces. The tape's dimensional stability reduces shrinkage and maintains bond integrity under tension. A white finish helps visual alignment and discrete coverage where a light colour is required.

Suitable for

• Reinforcing seams and joints in panels and housings
• Bundling cables and pipes for temporary or semi-permanent runs
• Splicing and patching materials in production or repair tasks
• Surface protection during transport, handling or finishing work

Key specifications

• Carrier: woven glass cloth
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Length: 45 m
• Width: 50 mm
• Colour: white
• Tensile strength: high (glass-fibre reinforced)
• Form: flexible cloth tape with tear-resistant structure

How to use

Clean and dry the surface where the tape will be applied, removing dust, oil and loose particles for optimal adhesion. Unwind the required length and apply the tape by pressing it firmly onto the substrate to ensure intimate contact between adhesive and surface. For bundling or reinforcement, overlap edges as needed to achieve the desired strength. The tape can be cut with scissors or a utility knife. Remove by peeling; adhesion level may vary depending on surface and exposure time.

Recommendations

For best results, store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperatures outside the manufacturer’s recommended range. When used on delicate or newly painted surfaces, test a small area first to check removability and interaction with the finish. Avoid prolonged exposure to solvents or high temperatures that can affect adhesive performance.
