Conector de fibra óptica LC-LC dúplex violeta ShiverPeaks 07-60013 — conector de cable de conexión óptico LC dúplex

ShiverPeaks S/CONN LC-LC Duplex (07-60013) is an LC duplex fiber connector in a violet finish designed to join two LC-terminated optical fibers in a compact duplex format. The connector provides two aligned LC ferrule interfaces suitable for patch panels, fiber patch cords and equipment links that require LC duplex interfacing and colour-coded identification. It supports use in singlemode and multimode cabling environments where a standard LC duplex mating pair is required.

Advantages

The LC-LC duplex design offers a small footprint and reliable ferrule alignment for consistent optical performance. Violet colour coding simplifies identification in dense cabling racks or mixed-application environments, reducing the risk of mispatching. The duplex format keeps paired fibres together for straightforward management of transmit/receive pairs and simplifies installation into LC duplex adapters and panels.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and distribution frames requiring LC duplex connections
• Pre-terminated fibre patch cords and field-terminated links
• Singlemode and multimode network interconnects where colour coding aids identification
• Equipment links in data centres, telecom rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex (two LC ferrules in single housing)
• Colour: violet for visual identification
• Form factor: compact duplex suitable for high-density panels
• Compatibility: mates with standard LC duplex adapters and receptacles
• Applicable fibre types: singlemode and multimode optic fibres

How to use

Insert each LC ferrule into the corresponding LC duplex adapter or equipment receptacle until it clicks into place. Ensure the transmitter and receiver fibres are correctly paired according to your link plan and that colour coding matches your organisation’s labelling scheme. For patch cord use, route the duplex connector through cable management to maintain bend radii and avoid stress on the ferrules. When disconnecting, press the latch and pull straight to avoid damaging the ferrule end-face or the adapter sleeve.

Recommendations

Inspect ferrule end-faces for contamination before mating and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Avoid excessive bending of the cable near the connector and protect unused connectors with dust caps to maintain optical performance and extend service life.
