How to use

Power down the notebook, disconnect any power source and remove the battery if possible before beginning the replacement. Detach the damaged display cover and align the replacement so that the hinge mounts and screw locations match the original. Reinstall screws and bezel, reconnect any cables, and verify hinge movement and display alignment before fully reassembling the device. If unsure, follow the device-specific service manual or consult a trained technician.

Recommendations

Use appropriate ESD precautions and the correct screwdriver sizes during replacement. Test display and hinge function after partial reassembly before tightening all fasteners. For devices under warranty or when lacking repair experience, consider professional installation to avoid further damage.
