Dispositivo de escalada Camalot Black Diamond C4 violeta — cuerda Ø 1,96–3,35 cm, peso 93 g, 1 ud.

The Black Diamond Camalot C4 in Violet is a redesigned active camming device offering trusted functionality with reduced weight. Weighing 93 g and compatible with rope diameters from 1.96 cm, this cam maintains durable performance while improving ergonomics and rackability. The lobes are lighter and sculpted for an improved strength-to-weight ratio, the slings are color-updated for quicker visual differentiation, and larger sizes include a new trigger keeper and widened trigger for more compact racking and easier handling.

Advantages

The Camalot C4 is 10% lighter than its predecessor while preserving durability. Sculpted lobes optimize strength-to-weight, updated slings make size identification faster on the rack, and the new trigger keeper on sizes #4–#8 keeps larger cams contracted for compact storage and releases instantly when placing. The widened trigger improves grip and control during placement.

Suitable for

• Traditional rock climbing gear placements
• Multi-pitch and sport trad routes requiring reliable protection
• Alpine climbs where weight and packability matter
• Climbers who need quick identification and fast racking of multiple cams

Always inspect the cam body, sling, and trigger mechanism before each climb and ensure placements are solid before weighting the device.

Recommendations

Use the Camalot C4 only as part of a complete climbing system and follow manufacturer instructions for inspection and maintenance. Regularly check sling integrity, and replace any component showing wear or damage. Select cam sizes appropriate for the placement and verify each placement before committing weight.
