Esponja de lijado Bosch 2608901678 Combi Block para lijado manual de madera y barniz, borde redondeado y lado afilado, estructura de superficie Bosch

Bosch 2608901678 Combi Block is a hand sanding sponge developed for manual finishing of wood and painted surfaces. The block combines a rounded edge and a sharp side to access curved profiles, edges and confined spaces. Its Bosch Surface Structure bonds abrasive grains to a flexible fleece backing, which helps to distribute pressure evenly and reduce clogging during sanding compared with conventional sanding sheets.

Advantages

The flexible fleece backing provides consistent contact with irregular surfaces, delivering uniform abrasion without concentrated pressure points. The dual-edge design — rounded and sharp — enables work on both contoured areas and straight edges without changing tools. Bosch Surface Structure improves abrasive life and reduces clogging by holding grains in place while allowing dust to move away from the working surface. The compact sponge format offers ergonomic handling for extended manual use and precise control.

Suitable for

• Sanding wooden furniture and mouldings
• Surface preparation of painted and varnished areas before repainting
• Finishing curved or profiled surfaces
• Detail sanding in corners, edges and tight spots

Key specifications

• Hand sanding sponge format with dual-edge geometry (rounded edge and sharp side)
• Abrasive bonded to a flexible fleece (Bosch Surface Structure) for even pressure distribution
• Suitable for wood and painted surfaces
• Low clogging performance for extended abrasive life
• Ergonomic size for manual control and precision work

How to use

Select the appropriate abrasive grit for the task and start with light, even strokes along the surface grain where applicable. Use the rounded edge to follow curved contours and the sharp side for straight edges, corners and narrow access points. Maintain consistent pressure and periodically inspect the abrasive surface; replace the sponge when the abrasive is worn or the backing shows deterioration. For painted surfaces, clean dust between passes and ensure the surface is dry before continuing.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as dust masks and eye protection when sanding. For best results on wood, move with the grain and avoid excessive pressure that can create uneven sanding marks. Store the sanding sponge in a dry place to preserve the flexible fleece backing and abrasive properties.
