Hoja de sierra de cinta Bosch 2 608 649 006 18 1140 mm 2 piezas

Replacement band saw blades Bosch CB4418 BIM 18 TPI, 2 pieces are bimetal (BIM) construction blades designed for cutting metal and mixed materials where a fine tooth pitch is required. Supplied as a pack of two, these blades offer increased wear resistance and longer life compared with standard carbon blades, making them suitable for workshop and professional environments. The 18 TPI tooth pitch delivers a balance between cutting speed and edge finish for thin-wall tubes, profiles and sheet metal.

Advantages

The bimetal construction combines a high-speed steel cutting edge with a flexible backing material to resist tooth breakage and retain sharpness under repeated use. The fine 18 TPI tooth pitch provides smooth cuts and reduced material deformation on thin sections. Supplied as a pair, the set reduces downtime for blade changes. The blades are compatible with common workshop band saws that accept standard-width blades and are intended to improve cutting consistency and tool life in frequent cutting tasks.

Suitable for

• Cutting thin-walled metal tubes and pipes
• Profile and section cutting of steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals
• Workshop and professional metal fabrication tasks requiring fine finish
• Replacement blades for band saws used in maintenance and production environments

Key specifications

• Tooth pitch: 18 TPI (teeth per inch)
• Construction: bimetal (high-speed steel teeth on flexible backing)
• Quantity: 2 blades per pack
• Intended materials: steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and mixed materials
• Application focus: fine-pitch cutting, workshop and professional use

How to use

Install the replacement band saw blade according to the band saw manufacturer's instructions, ensuring correct blade orientation and proper tension. Use appropriate cutting speed and feed rates for the material being processed and apply suitable coolant or cutting fluid when recommended for metal cutting to extend blade life. Inspect and adjust blade tracking and tension before starting a cut and replace blades when wear or tooth damage reduces cutting performance.

Recommendations

For best results, match blade width and thickness to your band saw's specifications and select the 18 TPI option for thin sections and fine-finish requirements. Use steady feed rates and adequate lubrication for stainless steel and harder alloys to minimize heat buildup and extend blade life.
