Fuente de alimentación HP Enterprise SPS-PS 1U 12V 800W para servidores y sistemas rack

Hot‑swap style HP Enterprise SPS-PS power supply in a 1U form factor provides a regulated 12V DC output at up to 800W, intended for use in enterprise servers and rack systems. The unit is built to fit standard 1U server bays and to replace or supplement existing power modules, enabling serviceability without shutting down the host system. The design focuses on delivering a stable 12V rail with sufficient wattage for compute, storage, and network modules commonly deployed in datacenter racks.

Advantages

The 1U 12V 800W power supply supports hot‑swap operation, enabling in-place replacement or addition to redundant power arrays without interrupting server operation. Its compact 1U form factor and standardized mounting simplify installation in rack servers. The regulated output and high power capacity reduce the risk of voltage drops under load, while enterprise‑grade construction improves durability and thermal performance in continuous operation environments.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Replacing a failed 12V power module in compatible 1U server and blade systems
• Adding or restoring redundancy in datacenter server power configurations
• Providing a high‑power 12V rail for storage arrays, RAID controllers, and high‑density compute nodes
• Maintenance and onsite service operations where hot‑swap capability is required

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U hot‑swap power supply module suitable for rack servers
• Output voltage: 12 V DC regulated
• Maximum output power: 800 W
• Intended application: enterprise servers and rack systems
• Cooling: active cooling integrated for continuous datacenter operation
• Mounting: front‑removable/push release compatible with standard 1U bays

How to use

Before installation, verify compatibility with the server model and confirm that the system supports hot‑swap power modules. When replacing a module, follow the server vendor’s service procedures: ensure the power supply bay is labeled, release the retention latch, and slide the new unit into the bay until it seats and the latch engages. Monitor the server’s management interface or on‑chassis indicators to confirm that the new supply is detected and operating within expected voltage and power limits. For adding redundancy, install the additional unit in an available bay and verify load sharing according to the server’s power management documentation.

Recommendations

Use this power supply only in compatible HP Enterprise server and rack systems that accept 1U hot‑swap modules. Maintain proper airflow and ambient temperature in the rack, and use vendor‑recommended spare parts and firmware updates to ensure correct power management and load sharing. Regularly inspect connectors and latches for wear, and follow data center safety procedures when performing live replacements.
