Photographers who shoot for hours know the original Sony eyecup can feel shallow and let in stray light. The JJC FDA-EP20 replacement eyecup solves both problems with a deeper, softly cushioned design that seals against your eye socket and blocks ambient light. Made from flexible silicone rubber and durable ABS plastic, it flexes gently even when you wear glasses, reducing pressure and eye fatigue during long sessions. The ergonomic shape improves viewfinder contrast, so your EVF stays vivid even in bright sunlight. Scratch-resistant and wear-resistant, it also protects the original viewfinder from dust and minor impacts. Installation is simple: just slide it onto the camera viewfinder for a secure fit.

In daily use

When shooting outdoors in bright sunlight, stray light entering the viewfinder can wash out the image and make precise framing difficult. This eyecup creates a light seal around your eye, ensuring the EVF remains vivid and easy to read. The soft-touch material reduces pressure on the eye socket, so you can shoot for hours without discomfort. It also protects the original viewfinder from dust and minor impacts.
