KS TOOLS Set de reparación de roscas, 131 piezas, insertos de rosca de alambre métricos M5-M12, acero inoxidable, en maletín BT541150

The KS TOOLS BT541150 thread repair kit stands out by bundling every component needed for professional metric thread restoration in one organised case. Instead of buying individual taps, drills, and inserts, this 131-piece set covers five common sizes and includes stainless steel helical inserts that create stronger-than-original threads in soft materials.

Highlights

• Complete 131-piece kit for repairing M5, M6, M8, M10, and M12 metric threads
• Helical wire inserts made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability
• Includes HSS twist drills, special taps, installation tools, and tang break tools for each size
• Supplied in a robust plastic case with organised compartments for easy storage and transport
• Suitable for light metal, cast iron, steel, and plastic applications

In daily use

Damaged or worn threads can bring a repair job to a halt. With this kit, you can restore threads quickly and reliably. The process is straightforward: drill out the old thread with the included HSS drill, cut a new thread with the special tap, wind in the stainless steel insert using the installation tool, and snap off the tang. The result is a vibration-resistant, permanent thread that often exceeds the strength of the original. The inserts are ideal for reinforcing threads in soft materials like aluminium or magnesium, and they prevent future stripping.
