La Sportiva Tarantula pies de gato hombre negro/amarillo EU 45.5

The La Sportiva Tarantula stands apart from typical beginner climbing shoes by pairing a high-volume, comfort-oriented fit with a surprisingly capable FriXion RS rubber sole. Where many entry-level models sacrifice performance for plushness, the Tarantula keeps a neutral, flat profile that excels on slabs, cracks, and all-day gym sessions without punishing your toes. The unlined leather upper molds to the foot over time, while the single hook-and-loop strap delivers quick on-off convenience at the crag or between boulder problems.

Highlights

• FriXion RS rubber sole (5 mm) for durable grip on both gym holds and outdoor rock
• Unlined leather upper offers a personalized, breathable fit that breaks in beautifully
• 1.8 mm LaspoFlex midsole balances support and sensitivity for edging and smearing
• Low asymmetry and flat last (RL 45) reduce fatigue during long multi-pitch routes
• High-volume comfort fit accommodates wider feet without hot spots
• Single Velcro strap closure for fast adjustments and easy entry

In daily use

From your first gym session to a full day on moderate trad lines, the Tarantula behaves like a true all-rounder. The medium stiffness provides enough support for small edges, yet the shoe remains supple enough to feel the rock underfoot. The black and yellow leather upper is easy to spot in a crowded gear pile, and the unlined interior dries quickly after sweaty summer approaches. Because the fit is intentionally roomier than aggressive performance models, many climbers choose the Tarantula for long training blocks or as a comfortable second pair for volume days.
