Lijas Bosch M480 Best for Wood and Paint

The Bosch M480 Sanding Sheets Best for Wood and Paint provide virtually dust-free sanding and keying on wood and painted surfaces. Made from knitted fabric net, these sanding sheets enable full-surface extraction of sanding dust during use and reduce clogging for consistent, clean results. They are designed for fine sanding of softwood, hardwood, lacquer, plaster, and wood with resin or oil, and for removing coatings and impurities, intermediate lacquer sanding and keying primers. The pack contains 5 sheets compatible with random orbital sanders.

Advantages

Open net structure allows effective dust extraction across the entire sheet surface, reducing airborne dust and improving visibility while working. The knitted fabric construction provides stable performance and optimal sanding behaviour, while electrostatic grain distribution and fully synthetic resin backing increase durability and wear resistance. The design also minimises clogging, helping to maintain sanding efficiency and a cleaner surface finish.

How to use

Attach a Bosch M480 sanding sheet to a compatible random orbital sander according to the sander manufacturer's instructions. Use gentle, even pressure and keep the sander moving to avoid creating low spots. For best results, ensure dust extraction is connected and operational to make use of the sheet's open net structure. Replace sheets when abrasive performance decreases or clogging affects the sanding result.

Recommendations

For optimal durability and surface quality, use with a dust-extraction-equipped sander and select the appropriate grit for the task. Test on a scrap piece if working on coated or resinous wood to confirm compatibility and desired finish.
