Llave de separación Rothenberger 72101 para espirales de 22 mm y 32 mm

Separation Key Rothenberger 72101 for 22 mm and 32 mm Spirals is a purpose-built tool for separating and releasing spirals used in pipe-cleaning and cable-pulling systems. Designed for compatibility with 22 mm and 32 mm spiral diameters, the key provides a mechanical solution to disengage spiral sections quickly and safely. Its form factor assists technicians and maintenance personnel in performing rapid disassembly and handling of spiral coils during field service or workshop operations.

Advantages

The separation key offers straightforward mechanical operation without the need for power, enabling fast access to spiral ends and reducing downtime during maintenance. Its compatibility with two common spiral diameters simplifies inventory needs and supports versatile use across different machines and cable- or pipe-cleaning setups. The tool’s design focuses on ease of handling and repeatable performance for routine service tasks.

Suitable for

• Separating 22 mm spiral sections in pipe-cleaning reels
• Disengaging 32 mm spirals used for larger-diameter cable or drain-cleaning systems
• Workshop maintenance and field service where fast spiral release is required
• Technicians and contractors working with spiral-based cable-pulling or drain-cleaning equipment

Key specifications

• Compatible spiral diameters: 22 mm and 32 mm
• Operation type: manual mechanical separation
• Intended use: release and disassembly of spiral coils used in pipe-cleaning and cable-pulling systems
• Form factor: handheld tool designed for easy grip and manipulation
• Environment: suitable for workshop and on-site field service use

How to use

Position the separation key at the joint or coupling point of the spiral coil aligned with the targeted diameter. Apply controlled mechanical force as intended to disengage the spiral sections, ensuring hands and work area are clear of moving parts. After separation, inspect the spiral ends and coupling surfaces for wear or damage before reassembling or storing. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection) while performing the operation.

Recommendations

Use the tool only with compatible 22 mm and 32 mm spirals and follow the equipment manufacturer’s guidance for disassembly. Keep the key clean and free from debris, and inspect it periodically for deformation or wear that could affect safe operation. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
