A slow retention function is built into the manual screens. This makes the screen retract slowly, and controlled retract into the cassette. This prolong the lifetime of the projection screen and makes the manual screen usable in more public environemnts where multiple users handle the screen every day. Many tests show that a manual projection screens with slow retention has double the lifetime as screens that does not.

Superior screen material
The quality of material is the most important aspect of any projection screen. Most screens on the market will use a very basic compressed cloth type material resulting in a creased surface and poor contrast performance. The Multibrackets Projection Screen Deluxe series use a high quality multi ply material with a high contrast and low gain of 1.0. The material is tear resistant, fireproof, anti wrinkle safe and is designed to hang flat. The centre layer is a glass fibre net producing a flex rate of less than 1% compared with the industry average of 33%. The front layer optimises contrast and reflectivity while a black PVC backing prevents light leakage and helps retain a uniformly flat projection surface.

Available in 16:10, 16:9, 4:3 or 1:1-formats surrounded by a white boarder for higher contrast. The screen fabric is simple to roll up and down onto the screen roll, working similar to a curtain.

How to use

Install the aluminium cassette securely to a wall or ceiling using the included mounting brackets and recommended fasteners for your surface. Pull the screen down to the desired position and engage the self-lock mechanism to hold the screen in place. When retracting, allow the slow-retention mechanism to guide the fabric back into the cassette to ensure controlled and even winding. Avoid forcing the screen beyond the locking points.

Recommendations

For best image quality, position the projector so its lens is centered horizontally with the screen and use keystone or lens shift sparingly. Keep the screen clean by wiping the matte surface gently with a dry, lint-free cloth; avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners. When installed in public or high-use environments, periodic inspection of the cassette and roller is recommended to maintain smooth operation.
