Opengear CM8116-10G servidor de consola serie de 16 puertos con doble 10GbE SFP+ y doble GbE, ARM Cortex-A9 1.6GHz

Managing network infrastructure across distributed sites often means dealing with out-of-band access challenges, especially when primary networks fail. The Opengear CM8116-10G solves this by providing secure, always-available console access to up to 16 serial devices, combined with high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplinks for fast data transfer and management. This 1U rackmount console server is built for enterprises that demand reliability, security, and performance in their remote management solutions.

Who is it for

This console server is ideal for data center managers, network engineers, and IT administrators who need to remotely manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other serial-based equipment. It is especially valuable for organizations with distributed infrastructure, such as branch offices, retail locations, or industrial sites, where on-site technical staff may not be available. Its dual redundant power supplies and robust security features make it suitable for mission-critical environments where uptime is paramount.

Main features

• 16 RJ45 serial ports supporting RS-232/422/485, software-selectable per port for flexible connectivity to a wide range of devices.
• Dual 10GbE SFP+ ports for high-bandwidth network connections, ensuring fast data transfer and efficient management of multiple sessions.
• Dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports for additional network redundancy and management traffic separation.
• Powered by an ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor at 1.6 GHz with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC flash for responsive performance and ample local storage for logs and configurations.
• Comprehensive security with SSHv2, SSL/TLS, IPsec, and FIPS 140-2 validated cryptography, plus authentication via RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, Kerberos, NIS, and local accounts.
• Advanced console management features including offline data buffering, port logging, data logging, and event notification to ensure no critical data is lost even during network outages.
• Dual redundant AC power supplies (100-240V) for high availability and reduced downtime risk.
• Two USB 2.0 ports for local storage expansion or firmware updates.
