How to use

Hold the D-handle with one or both hands depending on required force, place your foot on the foot-rest and press the blade into the soil. Use a steady forward motion to dig, lift and transfer soil. For drainage tasks, dig a trench to the required depth and remove excavated soil with short, controlled shoveling movements. Clean the blade after use and store the spade in a dry place to maintain the hardened steel surface.
