Why choose it

The Instinct VS is a proven performer for climbers who demand precision on steep terrain. The Vibram XS Edge rubber provides excellent grip on tiny edges and smears, while the aggressive last keeps your foot in a powerful position. The Bi-Tension Active Randing system actively pulls the heel and toe together, reducing dead space and enhancing sensitivity. The single strap closure is fast and reliable, making these shoes ideal for bouldering sessions where you're constantly taking them on and off.

Ideal use cases

• Bouldering
• Steep sport climbing
• Technical face climbing
• Indoor climbing and training

Good to know

The Instinct VS uses a synthetic microfiber upper that stretches less than leather, so the fit remains consistent over time. The unlined forefoot maximises sensitivity, while the synthetic heel lining adds comfort during long sessions. Scarpa recommends sizing down from your street shoe size for a performance fit, but the single strap allows quick adjustments between burns. Made in Italy with premium materials, this shoe is built to withstand the demands of hard climbing.
