Portátil Acer Aspire 15 A15-61M-R32W — AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS, 15,6 inch FHD, 16 GB DDR5, 1 TB SSD, Radeon 780M, Windows 11

The Acer Aspire 15 A15-61M-R32W is a 15.6" clamshell laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics. It includes 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD, a Full HD IPS display with slim bezels, Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity, and ships with Windows 11 Home. The laptop is built in a grey aluminum-style chassis and aims to deliver balanced performance for everyday productivity, multimedia and light content creation.

Advantages

This model combines a high-efficiency Zen 4 based Ryzen 7 8840HS CPU with RDNA 3-based integrated graphics for improved performance and power efficiency. Dual-channel DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB M.2 SSD provide responsive multitasking and fast storage access. The 15.6" Full HD IPS display offers a wide viewing area with slim bezels, while modern connectivity options — including USB4 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 — support a variety of peripherals and external displays. The device also includes AI-enhancing features and Acer software tools for easier system control and improved video call quality.

Suitable for

• Everyday office work and study (documents, spreadsheets, web browsing)
• Multimedia playback and casual photo or video editing
• Light content-creation workflows and creative apps accelerated by integrated GPU
• Remote meetings and video calls

When it may not be suitable

This laptop is not designed for sustained heavy-duty professional workloads such as high-end 3D rendering, large-scale video production, or modern AAA gaming at maximum settings; such tasks typically require a dedicated high-performance GPU and additional cooling. If you regularly run intensive GPU- or CPU-bound applications for extended periods, a workstation- or gaming-focused system may be more appropriate.

How to use

Start by setting up Windows 11 Home and creating or signing into your Microsoft account to access system updates and security features. Use the built-in Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth to connect peripherals and the internet; connect external monitors via HDMI 2.1 or a USB4 Type-C port that supports display output. For optimal everyday performance, keep the system updated, enable dual-channel memory configuration if upgrading, and manage background apps to preserve battery life. Use Acer’s bundled utilities for camera, audio and AI features to enhance video calls and content creation workflows.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended workload: suitable for productivity, multimedia and light creative tasks but not for heavy GPU-intensive workloads
• Upgrade paths: check whether storage or memory upgrades are needed for future use
• Port requirements: confirm the need for specific ports (USB-C, HDMI) for your peripherals
• Battery life expectations: rated capacity is 53 Wh; actual runtime varies with workload

Recommendations

For balanced daily use, keep the system firmware and drivers up to date, use power profiles to extend battery life, and rely on the integrated Radeon 780M for casual editing and multimedia. When planning heavier creative projects, consider external storage or a higher-performance machine with a dedicated GPU.
