Portátil Acer Predator PH16-73-96SW Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 16 inch WQXGA, 64 GB DDR5, 2 TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, Windows 11 Home

The Acer Predator PH16-73-96SW is a high-performance clamshell laptop built for gaming, content creation and demanding multitasking. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with hybrid graphics (integrated Intel graphics plus an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090) and a 16" WQXGA (2560×1600) OLED display. With 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB SSD, the system is configured for large projects, fast load times and smooth multitasking. The device runs Windows 11 Home and includes cooling and input innovations such as 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans and MagKey 4.0.

Advantages

This laptop delivers desktop-level performance in a portable chassis thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and a GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, enabling high frame rates and hardware-accelerated AI tasks. The OLED display provides deep blacks, high contrast and accurate color reproduction for immersive gaming and precise content work. Advanced cooling with AeroBlade 3D fans and precise magnetic-actuation keys (MagKey 4.0) help maintain performance under load. Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 5 for fast wireless links and high-bandwidth wired peripherals.

Suitable for

• High-end gaming and esports at native WQXGA resolution
• Video editing, 3D rendering and other GPU-accelerated content creation
• Live streaming and online meetings with AI-enhanced camera and audio features
• Multitasking with large datasets, multiple virtual machines or heavy productivity workflows

When it may not be suitable

Although portable for a 16" performance laptop, the unit weighs around 2.65 kg and may be less convenient for users who need a very light, travel-first device. Battery life under sustained heavy load is limited compared with ultraportable models, so users who require all-day unplugged operation should consider lighter or lower-powered alternatives.

How to use

Set up the laptop on a stable surface, connect the power adapter for full performance and follow Windows 11 initial configuration. Use PredatorSense™ to choose performance profiles, adjust fan curves and customise RGB lighting. For streaming or video calls, enable Acer ProCam and Acer PurifiedView™/PurifiedVoice™ 2.0 features to improve framing and reduce background noise. Keep the vents clear and consider a desk mat or stand to further improve airflow during extended sessions.

What to consider before purchase

• Portability needs versus performance: 2.65 kg weight and a performance‑oriented design
• Expected battery life under heavy GPU/CPU workloads
• Whether 16" WQXGA OLED resolution and color characteristics match your content workflow
• Required ports and external display support for your setup (Thunderbolt 5 and Wi‑Fi 7 improve external connectivity)

Recommendations

For best sustained performance, plug in the power adapter when gaming or rendering, use PredatorSense™ to select a high-performance mode, and keep the intake/exhaust vents unobstructed. Enable Acer PurifiedVoice™ and ProCam for higher-quality streams and meetings. Consider external storage or backups for large media projects, and ensure drivers and Intel Application Optimization updates are applied for optimal compatibility.
