Portátil GIGABYTE GAMING A16 CWHI3FR894SH, Intel Core i7-13620H, 16 inch WUXGA, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, Wi‑Fi 6E, Windows 11 Home

The GIGABYTE GAMING A16 CWHI3FR894SH is a clamshell laptop designed for gaming and demanding applications. It features an Intel® Core™ i7-13620H processor, a 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 16 GB of DDR5 memory, a 1 TB SSD and hybrid graphics with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 alongside Intel® UHD Graphics. The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home and comes in a black finish with a French (AZERTY) keyboard layout.

Advantages

This model combines a high-performance 10-core Intel® Core™ i7 processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU to handle modern games and content-creation tasks. The 16:10 WUXGA IPS screen provides extra vertical space for productivity, while the 1 TB SSD offers fast boot and load times. DDR5 memory at 5200 MHz improves system responsiveness for multitasking and heavier workloads.

Suitable for

• Playing modern games at high settings
• Video editing and 3D rendering workflows
• Software development and multitasking
• Everyday productivity and multimedia consumption

When it may not be suitable

The laptop is relatively powerful but may be heavier and have shorter battery life than ultraportable notebooks due to its gaming-oriented components and a 76.1 Wh battery. If you need extreme portability, very long battery runtime, or a smaller display, a thin-and-light or ultraportable model could be more appropriate.

How to use

Unpack the laptop and connect the power adapter for the initial charge. Complete Windows 11 setup and install required drivers and GIGABYTE utilities from the official support site to ensure optimal performance. Use the NVIDIA control panel to select GPU preferences for games and applications, and store large projects on the internal 1 TB SSD for faster access. Regularly update the OS and drivers and keep ventilation clear during heavy use to maintain performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Keyboard layout: French AZERTY — ensure this matches your typing needs.
• Portability vs performance: gaming hardware increases weight and reduces battery life compared to ultraportable laptops.
• Display resolution and size: 16" WUXGA (1920 x 1200) offers extra vertical space but is not a 4K panel.

Recommendations

For gaming, enable the discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and keep drivers up to date. For content creation, use the full 16 GB DDR5 memory and SSD for project files; consider external storage or memory upgrades if you work with very large datasets. Keep the laptop on a hard, ventilated surface during extended sessions to reduce thermal throttling.
