RAM Mounts RAM-202U-225 base de bola tamaño D con placa redonda de 2,5", AMPS de 4 orificios, aluminio marino con recubrimiento en polvo, negro

Ordinary mounting bases flex under load or corrode after a season outdoors—this one doesn’t. The RAM-202U-225 pairs a D-size rubber ball with a 2.5-inch round plate machined from marine-grade aluminum. The powder-coated finish shrugs off salt spray, UV, and workshop grime, while the 4-hole AMPS pattern locks to flat surfaces with standard hardware. This is the foundation for a heavy-duty mount that stays put when the road, waves, or vibration try to shake it loose.

Highlights

• D-size rubber ball (2.25") mates with all RAM D components for a secure, adjustable connection
• Round 2.5" plate with 4-hole AMPS pattern (1.912" x 1.912" spacing) fits common mounting brackets
• Powder-coated marine-grade aluminum resists corrosion and impact in harsh environments
• Supports up to 15 lbs (6.8 kg) of gear when paired with compatible D-size arms
• Compact footprint: 50.8 mm ball height, 63.5 mm plate diameter, 108.8 g weight

In daily use

Bolt the plate to a dashboard, console, or bulkhead using the AMPS hole pattern. Snap on any RAM D-size double socket arm and cradle, then position your tablet, GPS, or radio at the perfect angle. The rubber ball damps vibration and grips firmly, so your device stays readable and steady even on rough terrain. For marine or industrial setups, the powder coating prevents pitting and keeps the base looking clean after years of exposure.
