Resistencia CanBus OSRAM LEDSC04-2HB Tipo 12V 50W para iluminación LED de vehículos

CanBus resistor OSRAM LEDSC04-2HB Type 12V 50W for LED vehicle lighting is a load resistor developed to provide a stable electrical load for LED turn signals, brake lights and parking lights on vehicles with CanBus monitoring systems. The resistor emulates the current draw of a standard incandescent bulb to prevent dashboard error messages, warning lights and hyper-flashing that can occur after converting to LED lamps. It is intended for retrofit and conversion projects where the vehicle electronics require an increased load to recognise correct lamp operation.

Advantages

The OSRAM LEDSC04-2HB resistor delivers a consistent 50W load at 12V to closely mimic incandescent bulb behaviour and reduce false error reporting. Its compact form factor and straightforward wiring allow integration without significant modification to the vehicle harness. The resistor is designed for reliable thermal performance under typical automotive conditions and helps ensure stable signalling and light operation after LED conversion.

Suitable for

• Eliminating hyper-flashing on LED turn signal retrofits
• Suppressing dashboard bulb-out warnings on cars with CanBus systems
• Providing additional load for LED brake or parking lamp conversions
• Temporary or permanent installations during LED upgrade projects

Key specifications

• Nominal voltage: 12 V DC
• Rated power dissipation: 50 W
• Function: load resistor for LED lighting to emulate incandescent bulb current
• Typical application: automotive turn signals, brake lights, parking lights
• Connection type: inline wiring with two leads for series installation
• Form factor: compact resistor housing for mounting on vehicle body or chassis

How to use

Install the resistor in parallel with the LED lamp by connecting it across the lamp's positive and negative wiring, or as instructed for the specific vehicle and lamp combination. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated, and mount the resistor to a metal surface or chassis point to assist heat dissipation while avoiding contact with plastic or heat-sensitive materials. Verify correct operation by turning on the relevant lights and confirming the absence of error messages and normal flashing rate.

Recommendations

Use the resistor only in circuits where additional load is required; match the resistor placement and connections to the vehicle wiring diagram. Allow adequate clearance for heat and secure the unit with suitable hardware. When in doubt, consult a qualified automotive electrician to confirm suitability and safe installation.
