Why choose it

This lock insert is the genuine Rittal replacement or upgrade part, ensuring perfect fit and function with your existing enclosure. Its die-cast zinc construction offers high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, while the natural matt finish resists fingerprints and wear. The tool-free installation saves time during assembly or retrofitting, and the compatibility with standard profile half-cylinders allows you to use your preferred locking cylinder for keyed-alike or master-key systems.

Ideal use cases

• Securing control cabinets in industrial automation environments
• Retrofitting existing Rittal AE or IW enclosures with a profile half-cylinder lock
• Replacing worn or damaged lock inserts in compact enclosures
• Standardizing locking systems across multiple enclosures using a common profile half-cylinder

Good to know

The lock insert is supplied as a single piece and does not include the profile half-cylinder or keys. It is designed for use with standard profile half-cylinders, such as those with a 30/10 mm dimension. The natural die-cast zinc colour is a silver-grey tone that matches most industrial enclosures. For installation, simply insert the lock into the cam and secure it without the need for special tools.
