How to use

Connect the One Touch Desktop to your computer using the supplied USB cable (USB-C or USB-A depending on your host). Initialise or mount the drive if required by your operating system, then copy or move files to the drive to create backups or free space on your primary storage. Use the front-facing ports to attach and charge other USB devices while the drive is connected. For encryption, enable password protection and follow the Seagate setup instructions to configure AES-256 hardware encryption.

Recommendations

Store the drive on a stable, dry surface and avoid exposing it to strong magnetic fields or extreme temperatures. Regularly update backups and verify files after transfer. Keep the password and recovery information secure if you enable encryption; without them encrypted data may be unrecoverable.
