Dell Networking S5248F-ON
Provide optimum flexibility and cost-effectiveness for demanding compute and storage traffic environments with this ToR switch that features 48 x 25GbE SFP28 ports, 4 x 100GbE QSFP28 ports and 2 x 100GbE QFSP28-DD ports. The S5248F-ON also supports Open Network Install Environment (ONIE) for zero-touch installation of network operating systems.
How to use
Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack using the 1U mounting provisions and ensure adequate airflow and power provisioning according to site requirements. Connect uplink and access ports using appropriate QSFP28 or SFP+ transceivers and configure VLANs, routing, link aggregation and QoS through the switch management interface or supported network controller. Use the management features to integrate authentication, spanning tree, and monitoring in line with your network design.
