Teclado de repuesto para portátil HP N09058-041

The HP N09058-041 German Backlit is a replacement keyboard designed for HP laptops with a German layout. It provides illuminated keys for improved visibility in low-light conditions and a standard key arrangement suited to German-language typing. The unit is intended to match the physical form factor of compatible HP models and restore full keyboard functionality when an original keyboard is damaged or worn.

Advantages

The built-in backlight enhances key legibility in dim environments while maintaining a slim profile that aligns with laptop topcase dimensions. The German layout preserves regional key placement and special characters commonly used in German typing. The keyboard uses standard scissor-switch mechanisms for stable key travel and responsive typing feel. Designed for direct replacement, it aims to replicate the original keyboard’s fit and mounting points to simplify installation and ensure reliable electrical connection.

Suitable for

• Replacing a damaged or non-functional laptop keyboard on compatible HP models
• Users who need a German QWERTZ layout with national characters
• Working or typing in low-light conditions where key backlighting is required
• Laptop repair shops performing component-level keyboard replacements

Key specifications

• Backlight: Integrated key illumination for low-light use
• Key mechanism: Scissor-style or equivalent laptop key switches for stable travel
• Compatibility: Designed for specific HP laptop models requiring the same physical dimensions and connector type

How to use

Power down the laptop and disconnect any external power source before beginning replacement. Remove the laptop’s bottom cover or bezel as required by the specific model to access the keyboard screws and retaining clips. Detach the existing keyboard by unscrewing mounting screws and gently releasing clips, then disconnect the flex ribbon cable from the motherboard. Position the replacement keyboard into the topcase, reconnect the flex cable ensuring the connector latch is secured, and reinstall screws and any removed panels. Power on the laptop and verify backlight function and full key input across the layout.

Recommendations

Handle the keyboard and ribbon cable with care to avoid bending or damaging connectors; use ESD precautions when working inside the laptop. If backlighting does not activate, check BIOS/OS keyboard backlight settings and confirm the ribbon cable is fully seated. For model-specific disassembly instructions, consult the laptop’s service manual or a qualified technician to ensure correct installation and avoid voiding warranties.
