The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK50 S4 Gen2 Wood PBT is a full-size mechanical keyboard with a wood-coloured top and a black base, designed in a UK layout and fitted with Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow linear switches. The keyboard features durable PBT keycaps and a compact full-size footprint that combines a standard numpad with a space-saving profile. It is intended for daily typing and gaming where a tactile yet smooth linear switch feel and a distinctive wood-styled appearance are required.

Advantages

The wood-coloured top provides a unique aesthetic while the black base ensures visual contrast and stability. Gateron G Pro 3.0 Yellow linear switches deliver a consistent, low-resistance keystroke suitable for fast typing and gaming. PBT keycaps resist shine and wear, offering long-term legend durability and a matte texture. The UK layout supports region-specific key placements and symbols, and the full-size design preserves a dedicated numpad for spreadsheet work and data entry.

Suitable for

• Daily typing and office work requiring a full-size keyboard with numpad
• Gaming sessions that benefit from fast, linear switch performance
• Users who prefer durable PBT keycaps and a matte finish that resists shine
• Setups where a distinctive wood-styled aesthetic is desired

Clean keycaps periodically with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh solvents that can affect the PBT finish.

Recommendations

For optimal longevity, keep the keyboard on a stable surface and avoid spilling liquids. If you frequently game, consider configuring in-game key bindings to take advantage of the linear response of Gateron Yellow switches. Replace or rotate keycaps only with compatible PBT or OEM-profile caps to maintain typing feel and fit.
