Why choose it

This mitre box eliminates guesswork. The fixed 45° and 90° guides mean you don't need to measure angles by eye, and the integrated clamp prevents the workpiece from shifting. The non-slip feet grip the work surface, so you can focus on the sawing motion. It's lightweight yet robust, and it works with most standard hand saws, including back saws and tenon saws. Whether you're a weekend warrior or a seasoned DIYer, this tool delivers repeatable, professional-looking results without the cost or bulk of an electric mitre saw.

Ideal use cases

• Cutting skirting boards and crown moulding
• Making picture frames with tight corner joints
• Trimming dowels, small timber sections, and plastic profiles
• Creating beveled edges for decorative woodwork
• On-site touch-ups where power tools are impractical

Good to know

The Wolfcraft 6948000 is a manual tool, so you'll need to supply your own saw. It's designed for fine-toothed hand saws; a back saw or tenon saw with a blade length of at least 350 mm works best. The box is not intended for heavy-duty or production use, but for occasional precision cutting it's a reliable companion. Clean the guide slots after use to maintain accuracy. No assembly required—just place it on a flat surface and start cutting.
