It features a 4.7" high-definition touchscreen with 1280 x 720 resolution, advanced scanning capabilities for 1D and 2D barcodes, and a PowerPrecision+ battery that supports long shifts. Built on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 platform with 4 GB of memory and expandable storage via MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC, the TC77 offers robust wireless connectivity (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and cellular) and a construction intended to withstand heavy everyday use inside and outside the four walls.

Advantages

The TC77 delivers an Android user experience that minimizes training time and supports graphically rich applications. A high-capacity PowerPrecision+ battery provides up to approximately 15 hours of operation, with warm-swap and fast-charge capabilities for uninterrupted workflows. Dual-carrier cellular support and carrier aggregation improve coverage and data speeds; the TC77 is also certified on leading public safety networks for emergency use.

How to use

Power on the device and sign in using the standard Android workflow or your organisation’s mobility management credentials. Use the touchscreen or stylus for application navigation; the display supports gloved and wet-hand operation. To capture barcodes, open the scanning application or use the dedicated scan button—aim the device toward the barcode and press to capture; omnidirectional scanning eliminates the need to align the device precisely. For multi-barcode or form capture, launch SimulScan. Swap batteries using Warm Swap mode to replace a depleted battery without powering down running apps. Connect to Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth accessories, or cellular networks as required for data transfer and voice services.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep device firmware and Mobility DNA apps up to date, use genuine Zebra batteries and chargers, and store the device within recommended temperature ranges. When operating outdoors, increase display brightness for optimal readability and use the omnidirectional scanner for fast, accurate barcode capture under varied lighting conditions.
