Note Validator NC 400 is an accessory module for compatible Olympia cash register models. It validates Euro banknotes by manual placement above the display, then automatically feeds each note through the validation mechanism. After verification, the note rests in a charcoal translucent tray and the test result is indicated by a red or blue LED. A warning signal is emitted when a note cannot be verified. The validator is supplied with colour-matching covers to fit the cash register housing and can be installed without tools. Two different sets are available to fit the sizes of two machine series.

Advantages

The NC 400 validates Euro notes with a simple manual feed and automatic transport, provides clear visual feedback via coloured LEDs and an audible warning for unverifiable notes, and includes interchangeable covers to match the cash register housing. Tool-free installation simplifies replacement or retrofitting on compatible Olympia cash register models.

How to use

Place a Euro note manually above the display; the validator will automatically feed the note through its sensors. Observe the LED colour to determine the test result — blue or red indicates verification status — and listen for an audible warning if the note cannot be verified. After the check, remove the note from the charcoal translucent tray. Installation into compatible Olympia cash registers is performed without tools using the supplied covers.

Recommendations

Use the Note Validator NC 400 with compatible Olympia cash register models and handle notes one at a time to ensure accurate feeding and verification. Keep the feed area and tray free of debris to maintain reliable operation.
