ACT Amarillo 3 metros LSZH U/UTP CAT6 Cable de red Slimline para centro de datos sin lengüeta con conectores RJ45

The ACT Yellow 3 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable is a slimline category 6 ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in cabinets and datacenters where space and airflow are important. With a reduced diameter compared to regular CAT6 patch cords and LSZH jacket material, it combines a compact form factor with low-smoke, halogen-free properties. The cable includes snagless RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts for reliable connections.

Advantages

The slimline 3.8 mm diameter reduces cable bulk and allows a smaller bending radius than standard 5.9 mm CAT6 patch cords, improving cabinet airflow and cable routing. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire. Gold-plated contacts and snagless RJ-45 boots improve contact reliability and reduce connector damage during installation.

Suitable for

• Patch connections in datacenter racks and server cabinets
• High-density network panels and switches where space is limited
• General Ethernet connections requiring CAT6 performance over short runs (3 m)
• Installations where low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6 U/UTP slimline
• Length: 3 m
• Diameter: approx. 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC9803 / 8716065404685
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding switch, patch panel or device ports, taking care not to exceed the cable's recommended bend radius when routing. Use the 3 m length for short patch runs inside racks or between nearby devices. For installations with Power over Ethernet (PoE), follow bundle-size and temperature guidance to avoid excessive heat buildup.

Recommendations

ACT recommends using 28 AWG slimline patch cables for short permanent link lengths only, since the smaller conductor gauge increases attenuation at higher frequencies compared with standard 24 AWG cables. For PoE deployments, limit bundles to a maximum of 24 cables to help keep the centre cable temperature rise below 15 °C above ambient as per ANSI TSB-184-A guidance.
