ACT rojo cable de conexión Slimline U/FTP CAT6A LSZH para centro de datos de 0,5 metros snagless con conectores RJ45

The ACT Red 0.5m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable is a slimline data center Ethernet cable with a 0.5 meter length, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Its U/FTP shielding and reduced diameter (approximately 3.8 mm) provide interference protection and improved airflow in cabinets compared with standard CAT6A patch cords.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm construction lowers the bending radius and increases rack airflow while maintaining U/FTP shielding to protect against crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated contacts and snagless RJ45 boots improve connector reliability and handling. The LSZH jacket reduces harmful smoke and corrosive gas emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for indoor data centre installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed data links in data centres and server rooms
• Short patch connections in structured cabling (0.5 m)
• Environments requiring reduced cable diameter and improved airflow
• Installations where LSZH jacket is required

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6A U/FTP
• Length: 0.5 m
• Cable diameter: slimline ~3.8 mm (vs ~5.9 mm standard)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless boots
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Jacket: LSZH
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device or patch panel port and the other into the target switch, server or outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable with gentle bends respecting the reduced bending radius of slimline cable. Use appropriate cable management to maintain airflow in racks and avoid tight bundling where not recommended.

Recommendations

Use slimline 32 AWG-style CAT6A patch cords for short patch runs; because higher attenuation occurs at higher frequencies with thinner conductors, ACT recommends keeping permanent link lengths shorter than with standard 24 AWG cords. For PoE deployments, limit bundled cables to a maximum of 24 to prevent excessive temperature rise, complying with ANSI TSB-184-A limits of less than 15 °C increase above ambient for the centre cable.
