ACT rojo cable de conexión Slimline U/FTP CAT6A LSZH para centro de datos de 2 m con conectores RJ45

Patch Cable ACT Red 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A is a slimline datacenter Ethernet patch cord with U/FTP shielding, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. At 2 m length and a reduced diameter of 3.8 mm, this CAT6A cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in dense rack environments while using low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket material.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter and lower bending radius compared with regular CAT6A patch cords improve airflow inside server cabinets and make routing in high-density environments easier. U/FTP shielding reduces interference for more reliable signal integrity. The snagless RJ45 plugs and gold-plated contacts ensure durable connections and consistent performance. Using 32 AWG construction yields a smaller cable size, though it results in higher attenuation at higher frequencies, which is accounted for by recommended shorter permanent link lengths.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network switch or patch panel and the other to the server, workstation or end device. Route the slimline cable through cable managers or horizontal managers in the rack to maintain bend radius and airflow. For installations involving permanent links, account for the higher attenuation of 32 AWG cable by using a shorter permanent link length compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords to ensure link performance within ISO/IEC and TIA limits.

Recommendations

Limit bundle size to a maximum of 24 cables for PoE applications to control temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends keeping temperature increase for the center cable below 15 °C above ambient. Follow structured cabling best practices and verify channel loss budgets when substituting slimline 32 AWG patch cords for standard 24 AWG cords.
