Adaptador cambiador de sexo DisplayPort ShiverPeaks BS10-78002

The ShiverPeaks BS10-78002 Cable Gender Changer DisplayPort is a compact adapter that links two DisplayPort cables directly. It has two DisplayPort connectors with gold-plated contacts and a black housing designed for straightforward signal transmission between compatible monitors, graphics cards and docking stations. The adapter provides a simple way to change connector orientation or join two DisplayPort leads without additional bulky adapters.

Advantages

This DisplayPort gender changer features gold-plated contacts that improve conductivity and resist corrosion, supporting reliable digital video signal transfer. Its compact black housing saves space and reduces strain on connected cables. The passive design requires no power, making it immediately usable and maintenance-free for standard DisplayPort connections.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining two DisplayPort cables
• Connecting monitors to DisplayPort outputs when a gender changer is needed
• Temporary or permanent reconfiguration of cable orientation in desktop setups
• Use with graphics cards, docking stations and DisplayPort-equipped monitors

Key specifications

• Connector A: DisplayPort male/female interface compatible with standard DisplayPort plugs
• Connector B: DisplayPort male/female interface compatible with standard DisplayPort plugs
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved signal conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing colour: black
• Design: passive gender changer for direct cable-to-cable connection

How to use

Align the DisplayPort plugs of the cables with the adapter’s connectors and insert them until they seat firmly. Ensure that latches or retaining mechanisms on DisplayPort cables are engaged where present. No drivers or external power are required; the adapter functions immediately after physical connection. Verify signal and display settings on connected devices if the image does not appear immediately.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use good-quality DisplayPort cables and avoid excessive bending or strain near the adapter. Check connector orientation before insertion to prevent damage to ports. If long cable runs or active signal boosting are required, consider using an active repeater or a single long DisplayPort cable rather than multiple passive joins.
