Keystone Blank Adapter ShiverPeaks 08-10122 — Hexagon white keystone insert for network faceplates is a hexagon-shaped white keystone blank intended to close unused keystone openings in network faceplates, patch panels and keystone frames. It fits standard keystone openings to provide a uniform appearance on wall plates and racks while protecting unused ports from dust and accidental contact. The blank adapter maintains the visual integrity of structured cabling installations and helps avoid exposed openings in active network areas.

Advantages

The keystone blank adapter offers a precise fit for standard keystone ports, a neutral white finish that blends with most faceplates and a hexagon shape that aligns with common keystone geometries. It shields unused openings from dust and debris, reduces the risk of accidental contact with internal components, and preserves a tidy, professional appearance on patch panels and wall plates. The simple snap-in design allows for quick installation and removal without tools.

Suitable for

• Closing unused keystone ports in wall plates and faceplates
• Sealing spare openings on patch panels in racks and cabinets
• Maintaining tidy appearance in office and data center structured cabling
• Protecting unused ports from dust in storage or low-use areas

Key specifications

• Shape: hexagon-style keystone blank compatible with standard keystone openings
• Color: white finish suitable for common faceplate colors
• Material: durable plastic construction for repeated insertion and removal
• Mounting: snap-in keystone format for tool-free installation
• Use environment: suitable for wall plates, patch panels, keystone frames, racks and cabinets

How to use

Press the keystone blank adapter into the unused keystone opening until it snaps into place; ensure the edges align with the faceplate aperture for a flush finish. To remove, gently depress the retaining tabs or use a small flat tool to disengage the snap retention and pull the blank out. The blank can be installed before or after faceplate mounting and is intended for non-active ports where no cabling termination is required.

Recommendations

For best results, verify compatibility with your specific keystone faceplates and patch panels before installation. Keep spare blanks on hand to cover temporary removals or future reconfigurations, and avoid exposure to prolonged direct sunlight or aggressive chemicals to maintain the white finish.
