Adaptador en T S Cat.5e Telegärtner J00029A0009

The Telegärtner T-Adaptor S Cat.5e (J00029A0009) duplicates a single 8-wire RJ45 connection into two 4-wire outputs, allowing two devices to share one network outlet without changing existing cabling or distribution panels. Housed in plastic with a 15 cm cable and RJ45 plug, the adaptor is suitable for 10/100BT networks and supports Ethernet, Token Ring and Ethernet/ISDN combinations in shielded or unshielded environments. Colour-coded mounting symbols identify the subscriber outputs and a transparent labelling plate allows clear marking of each output.

Advantages

The adaptor enables additional subscriber connections without running new cables or modifying patch panels, reducing installation complexity where access to ducts or distributors is limited. It is compact, easy to plug into existing outlets and provides visible labelling and pin-assignment information on the underside to trace the distributor structure if further intervention is needed. The grey, unobtrusive design integrates with standard network equipment.

Suitable for

• Duplicating an Ethernet outlet to connect two 10/100BT devices
• Temporary or permanent expansion where new cabling is impractical
• Small offices or workstations requiring an extra network/telephone port
• Network topologies: Ethernet, Token Ring, Ethernet/ISDN combinations

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: Telegärtner
• Model / MPN: J00029A0009
• EAN: 4018359227364
• Category: Cat.5e T-adaptor (splitter)
• Connector: 1× RJ45 plug (15 cm cable) to 2× RJ45 sockets
• Wiring: splits 8-wire RJ45 into two 4-wire outputs
• Supported speeds: 10/100 Mbit/s
• Housing: plastic, grey

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug of the adaptor into the patch panel or the network outlet. Connect two subscriber devices to the two RJ45 sockets on the adaptor output. Observe the coloured mounting symbols to identify data and telephone outputs. Label each output using the plate under the transparent cover to record assignments. Refer to the pin-assignment label on the underside when tracing the distributor layout or performing further network changes.

Recommendations

Use the adaptor where physical re-cabling is difficult or costly and only for applications compatible with 4-wire splitting (typically 10/100BT). Do not expect full Gigabit (1000BASE-T) performance when splitting an 8-wire RJ45 into two 4-wire links.
