Adaptador USB-C 3.1 en ángulo recto ShiverPeaks 13-40005, conector de 90° para dispositivos USB-C

ShiverPeaks S/CONN Adapter 13-40005 is a right-angle USB-C 3.1 adapter that reorients a USB-C connector by 90° to provide a low-profile connection in constrained spaces. The adapter is designed for devices with USB-C ports and delivers a compact and reversible connection without altering the electrical interface of the host device. It is suitable for routing cables behind furniture, reducing protrusion from device edges and minimising mechanical stress at the connector.

Advantages

The adapter offers a space-saving connector orientation that helps prevent cable bending and strain at the port. Its right-angle design enables neater cable management and reduces the risk of accidental disconnection in tight installations. The product is compatible with USB-C equipped laptops, tablets, smartphones and peripherals that use the USB-C physical interface, enabling convenient use across devices without switching to different cable types.

Suitable for

• Routing USB-C cables behind monitors, docking stations or furniture
• Using USB-C laptops or tablets in tight workspaces
• Reducing strain on USB-C cables and device ports in confined setups
• Connecting peripherals where straight connectors would obstruct nearby ports or controls

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: 90° right-angle
• Interface: USB-C (USB 3.1 physical connector)
• Compatibility: Designed for devices with USB-C ports (laptops, tablets, smartphones, peripherals)
• Form factor: Compact inline adapter for reduced protrusion

How to use

Insert the adapter into the device's USB-C port with the oriented plug aligned to the desired cable routing direction, then connect a standard USB-C cable to the adapter's outlet. Ensure the connector is fully seated before applying tension to the cable. The adapter does not change the electrical properties of the USB-C port; normal device recognition and function depend on the connected cable and device capabilities.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the adapter with good-quality USB-C cables that match your device's data transfer and power requirements. Avoid applying excessive sideways force on the adapter and periodically check the connection for wear if used in frequently reconfigured setups.
