Ajax 38192 blanco — detector de movimiento inalámbrico para exterior

Ajax 38192 white is an outdoor wireless motion detector designed to detect human presence and movement around buildings. The device uses passive infrared (PIR) sensing combined with wireless communication to report alarms and status updates to a compatible Ajax security hub. Housed in a weather-resistant enclosure, the detector is intended for perimeter and entry monitoring on façades, gardens, driveways and other outdoor areas where reliable motion detection is required.

Advantages

The detector provides reliable motion detection outdoors while reducing false alarms through built-in pet immunity and environmental tolerance to temperature changes and sunlight. Wireless connectivity enables flexible placement without running cables, and a compact white enclosure offers discreet installation on walls or posts. The detector’s design focuses on stable detection performance across typical residential and commercial outdoor environments.

Suitable for

• Perimeter monitoring around homes and small commercial buildings
• Garden and yard security, including driveways and pathways
• Monitoring building façades and entry points
• Supplementing alarm systems with outdoor motion coverage

Key specifications

• Type: outdoor wireless passive infrared (PIR) motion detector
• Detection area: designed for perimeter and entry coverage (refer to installer manual for exact detection range and angle)
• Enclosure: weather-resistant housing suitable for outdoor installation
• Immunity features: pet immunity and tolerance to common outdoor environmental factors
• Power: battery-powered wireless operation for flexible placement
• Communication: wireless connection to a compatible security hub

How to use

Mount the detector on a stable surface such as a wall or post at the recommended height and orientation, following the manufacturer’s installation guidelines to ensure correct detection coverage and minimize false triggers. Insert the batteries and pair the detector with a compatible Ajax security hub according to the hub’s pairing procedure. After installation, test detection zones and adjust angle or position as needed to cover the intended perimeter, and use the system’s app or management interface to configure sensitivity and alarm reporting settings.

Recommendations

Place the detector where it has a clear view of intended monitored areas and avoid pointing it directly at heat sources, reflective surfaces or dense foliage. Regularly check battery status and perform periodic tests through the security system to confirm reliable operation. For best results in areas with pets or heavy vegetation, follow the installer manual’s guidance on mounting height and angle to maintain pet immunity and reduce false alarms.
